July livestream

Despite the best efforts of the weather to fool us into thinking otherwise, Thursday is the 1st July – and therefore the day of the next monthly Project 48 livestream. Tune in at 8am on Thursday to start your day with some Bach!

As always the stream will be on the project Facebook page (and you don’t have to have a Facebook account – the above link should enable you to watch, regardless).

At the beginning of the year, I committed to streaming a selection of music on the 1st of each month, working up through the music based on a different note every time. I started with C back in January, when we were in the depths of winter lockdown; that feels some time ago now! This week I’ll be playing the preludes and fugues in F sharp major and minor. F sharp major is, harmonically speaking, pretty much as far from C major as you can get – which is appropriate given that we’re also now also as far from new year as possible!
