Bach: The Well-Tempered Clavier (‘The 48’)

The Cornwall ’48’ is spread across four performances over a long weekend in different corners of Cornwall – from house to school and barn to church! Hear the whole collection of preludes and fugues by following the journey around Cornwall, or simply pick whichever performance is nearest to you.
Inspired by Bach’s own dedication of this music for ‘the musical youth’ and ‘those already skilled’, the project is supporting Help Musicians, Live Music Now, Future Talent and Youth Music: between them these charities help hundreds of thousands of musicians every year. As with all Project 48 performances, all proceeds go to these organisations.
3pm concert followed by refreshments
5pm Libby directs a masterclass with local pianists
6:30pm Two final Preludes and Fugues to complete the Cornwall visit
