Happy new year! 2021 will be a year of many things…. New beginnings, new resolutions, hopefully new health and peace after 2020. And of course it is the year of Project 48! It might take a little while this year for the project to get going in earnest – but to mark its official beginning, I’ll be giving a short, informal livestream performance today at 4pm. Head over to the Project 48 Facebook page to join in real time – or the video will be available to watch afterwards if you’re out celebrating the new year at the time.

I’m also delighted to announce the four charities that will be the recipients of this fundraising project! They are Help Musicians, Youth Music, Live Music Now and Future Talent.

In order that the funds raised at each performance can go directly towards the nominated charities, I am crowdfunding to cover the travel costs associated with the project (getting to all 48 counties during the year clocks up a lot of miles!).
